15 Pakistani-origin candidates succeeded in UK elections

At least 15 Pakistan-born candidates have won in the recent elections in the United Kingdom.

According to details, Sajid Javid of the Conservative Party has returned as MP for Bromsgrove and increased his already majority by 6,533 votes.

Naz Shah of the Labor Party claimed victory for the third time in a row from Bradford West while Khalid Mehmood also retained his seat as MP for Birmingham.

Meanwhile, Yasmin Qureshi Bolton of the Labor Party managed to hold sway in the South East, while Conservative candidates Rahman Chishti and Imran Hussain of Labour also won elections in their respective constituencies.

Labor Party candidates Zara Sultana and Tahir Ali have secured votes in Coventry South and Birmingham Hall Green respectively.

Apart from this, success was also faced by Saqib Bhatti at Meridian.
