A fake photo about trees planted in the middle of a road in Peshawar has gone viral, and has also been tweeted by a private newspaper.

The picture has been uploaded on Twitter: “A unique road in Abhash Colony Warsak Road Tekhal Payan Peshawar. The unique road is reportedly constructed by a PTI MPA.

The false claim was retweeted by a private newspaper analyst, who expressed that the incumbent government of KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has introduced a new "proud" project after the BRT project. He said, "There will now be roads like these roads in new Pakistan."

The viral picture is actually from Utter Pradesh, India. Dr. Poonam Chauhan stepped on Twitter in 2018 and mocked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by saying that Konsa is the first state in India with trees in the middle of the roads.
